Lola & Panoz

Lola and Panoz

Hello. My name is Lola and I’m the lighter one. My name is Panoz and I’m the darker one. We arrived at Meows Without Moms before the organization was official. We were left on the doorsteps of Briarcliff Animal Clinic when we were two days old. Our Laura took us in and when it was time for our eyes to open, it was discovered that we were very special. We were missing part of our eyelids and blind. With special medicine and constant care, our eyes started working again. Our Laura took us to the University of Georgia Teaching Veterinary Hospital, where the ophthalmologists treated us monthly. Finally, after we were seven months old, they did surgery to create eyelids for us and make some repairs. We still have to have eye medications several times a day, but we can see and are now the resident cats at Meows Without Moms. We help our Laura take care of all the babies that arrive in the nursery. We love the baby kittens and assist in every way we can. Sometimes we help clean them or go get Laura when one is crying. We especially like to play with everyone when they are old enough to walk. We have been known to teach a few about the litter box as well. We love to greet visitors that come to the nursery to show them how the tiny kittens turn into cats with proper care and unconditional love. Thanks for looking at our friends. We hope you will consider giving them a loving home.

Lola and Panoz are really enjoying the babies. They love being
chewed on and chased. Panoz has put on a few pounds since she
especially loves eating the baby kitten food leftovers. It is so much
tastier than her Adult Lite selection.
