My history at Meows Without Moms
June 5, 2003
A new little guy left in my care is in pretty serious condition and is at Briarcliff Animal Clinic right now. He was brought to me with diarrhea that was so bad, it has caused sores or lesions on his legs and bottom. He also has two tumor like growths on his tummy that they are checking out today. I have named him Charlie. Please keep this little guy in your thoughts. He has a heart of gold if given a chance to live. I am doing my best to make it happen. The pictures of Charlie are heartbreaking. I show you these to impress the seriousness of his condition. He needs your help. Will you consider contributing to his medical needs and his chance to live a normal, happy and healthy life? Click on image for larger

*UPDATE* June 9, 2003
My Laura worked tirelessly and kept me company night and day trying to make me better. We went to see the veterinarians at Briarcliff Animal Clinic several times over the weekend and they gave me numerous medications. However, God decided to cure me and even secured me a permanent home in Heaven on Sunday. I am playing with catnip filled mice and chasing rolled up yarn and climbing gigantic scratch post towers. However, my needs on Earth are still the same. You see, I left behind several friends at Meows Without Moms and I know they receive numerous calls every day for more little kitties that need help. Laura is one person that has decided to try to make a difference, but she cannot do it alone. She uses whatever finances she has from her paycheck to do what she does. Instead of sitting back and watching, what can you do? If you still have funds set aside for my medical needs, perhaps you could help one of my other friends instead. God is taking care of me now. Could you help one of them? Maybe you have a loving home that you could share. I'm sorry I couldn't say goodbye in person, but I did have my Laura take a few photos before my final hours. Thank you for loving me while I was there. It's a great thing to be loved. I hope some of my friends find a home that loves them too.
