Angel and Halo are now five months old.
They want so desperately to be together that they hope someone will
answer their prayer and offer them a permanent home together. Both
kittens are current on all their vaccinations and are being spayed
and neutered. Angel and Halo are extremely affectionate and entertaining.
They love to give kisses and curl up on your lap for an afternoon
nap or perhaps a football game. If you are busy and away from home
during the day, they are quite happy having each other to play with
and find hours of entertainment just being with each other exploring
the house or playing hide ’n’ seek. It saddens them as
new faces come and go and they still have no one to claim them. Angel
thinks no one will love her because of her special little leg God
made into a wing. Halo has had an offer for another home, but he cannot
leave his sister behind. They love each other too much. Could you
open your arms a little wider and make room in your heart and home
for two? They will double your blessings! They were abandoned at PetsMart on Ponce de Leon Avenue. An employee called and asked for help, especially since one has a deformed leg. One is a little girl and the other is a little boy. Names have not been determined yet. The little girl's leg has already been checked by Dr. Gidion at Briarcliff Animal Clinic and we will just have to see how things develop as she grows. She will most likely be a normal kitten with three working legs. Her brother is very caring towards her and helps her even in his limited capacity at three weeks of age. It brings tears to watch them. I've only had them one day and I can tell they are going to be as inspirational and special as Lola and Panoz are. You can see the little girl's birth defect leg in the photo. I have named her Angel since God was turning her leg into a wing and her brother, Halo, since an Angel can't be without its Halo.
We will need our shots when we are old enough and Miss Laura will need to make sure other supplies are in stock for us and the others at Meows Without Moms. Would you consider either donating the items needed (you will find a list on the How You Can Help page) or by making a small donation thru PayPal for us and the others? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated and will ready us for our new families!
